Hello
Actually this is a Kindle keeper! The tutorial can be found at Moda bake shop, for some reason the link isn't working. It was my friend Hilda's birthday earlier this week and I made this for her. I know Hilda was given an Amazon Kindle which she loves and this little pouch will protect it. Of course it can be used as a sewing pouch or for anything you wish to put in it. It is strip pieced using 'flip and sew' method directly on to the wadding, then machine quilted using decorative stitches. By now my trusty Viking, I had for almost thirty years and as loads of stitches gave up the ghost and refused to stitch properly, so I had to use my basic Toyota quiltmaster. After adding a lining and binding, I hand appliqued the flower using freezer paper and added a Basic Grey button.
I stamped the Hydrangea with Adirondack eggplant and coloured with Copics
Thanks for stopping by

Its absolutely beautiful and I love it. Have tried my Kindle in it and it fits perfect - have also tried my moleskine sketch book that I take when George has long hospital appointments in and that is great too - so shall probably use it for both
The card is beautiful too - perfectly coloured
Thank you so much
