Miss Anya

Hi
Today is my sons' girlfriends birthday and this is the card I made for her. the image is Miss Anya from the Greetings Farm. I used kraft card stock and whisper white from SU, BG wisteria papers and buttons, I coloured the image with copics on Manga paper. Die cut with nesties 'labels'. Flowers stamped onto wisteria with distress ink and punched out with retro punches from EK success and leves were cut using Accent essentials on my Cricut. Oh, and last but not least I added a little heart charm which hung from a brad with little silver links that were so fiddly I used a pair of tweezer and a little sharp knife - cutting my finger in the process!! Luckily the blood did not reach my card! Thankyou for stopping by xx

Lots to do challenge

Hi
This weeks Lots to do challenge is to use apiece of stamping. So I chose the beautiful Maribel image by Stempelglede.
After several attempts at colouring her on glossy card I am rather pleased with the result! I used pigment inks
- versacolor and distress to colour her and used distress inks for the background. The flowers were stamped ( Stempeglede grunge) with distress inks on grunge paper and punched out with retro flower punches. the swirly thingy was cut on my Cricut using Accent Essentails, which I don't use enough! I had a hard time photographing her and this is the closest to how she looks in real life. thanks for looking xx

Too Late!!

Hi,
This was my card for last weeks Just Magnolia challenge but I never got to blog it on time! The frame was made during a workshop using an EK Success heart corner punch I managed to made a square and a circle!!! The punch I bought kept tearing my paper so I had to use the tutors. The flowers are Spellbinders Shapeabilities - flower creations, I used SU whisper white put them through the Cuttlebug, then stencilled using a dauber and pushed them out! I love these!I used Copics to colour Tilda and the birthday sentiment was done on the computer - font is BD Merced. Thanks for visiting my blog xx

Square framed card

Hi
Here is the second card using the EK corner heart punch. The cat ia an Inkdinkydo stamp and the flower is shapabilties flower creations. The pink card is from Coordinations and the black from SU. I added a few gems and voila a very simple card!
Thanks again for looking xx

Bad Blogger!

Hello
Sorry I have not blogged for a while, all this lovely sunshine has kept me away from my computer a lot of the time. I also had some family stuff to attend to! ( nothing bad ) I did manage to make a few cards and a tag though. All have been coloured with Copic markers. It took me so long to uploaded them, I almost lost the will to live! Sorry I have not posted all the labels - just the name of the the image and where I bought them. Thankyou for visiting me xxx

Some Stitchery

This weeks Challenge over on Just Magnolia is 'In Stitches' So you just have to do some stitching, either by hand, machine, or you can do some faux stitching. I used my new mini sewing machine and did a bit of zig zagging! The papers I used are Porcelain and Lime Ricky from Basic Grey. Tilda was coloured with Copics and I added a touch or 2 with my white Signo pen. Flowers - crochet and punched using EK Retro punches. Leaves, E-lm punch and Lace doiley - Martha Stewart. Scalloped circle was cut on my Cricut. Thanks for visiting, I appreciate all your comments xx

Hello
Another 'no brainer'! All that's needed is some lovely paper from Heidi Grace, which I used to cover Saras Surfaces 'portfolio' from HOTP - Approx' 8 x 11 inches. I got lots Sara Surfaces from QVC ages ago and never did anything with them and I quite enjoyed covering this. Letters are from K&Co and Brenda Pinnack, Retro punched flowers and one of Hels Stitchels, Heidi Grace chipboard stickers, SU sticky pearl thingies and Nestability long rectangle dies. Now I have somewhere to put my collecton of sketches, and photos/printouts and anything else that inspires me. Thanks for looking xx

Just Magnolia

Hello,
Challenge 2 over on Just Magnolia is Pink and Green colour combo! I thought I'd use my wax crayons and water colour Tilda but it looked too wish washy so I scrapped that idea and used my Copics - much better ! I'm really loving these now after a shaky start. Papers are porcelain by Basic Grey, the button is from the wisteria set- scrummy! What do you think of my crocheted flower? Took me loads of attemps before I was satisfied with it! The pattern can be found on Bevs blog. I also used my MS lace doiley punch and E-lm leaf punch. Plus,I added a few touches with my Signo uni ball white pen - very daring - for me!! Thankyou for visiting xx
