Hello
Hope you're enjoying the weekend
This little fabric basket I made for my friend Shairon for her birthday which isn't untill next week. Shairon lives in France but will be celebrating her birthday 'up north in the UK. Pity I'm way down in the West, so we wont meet up this time. I'm delighted she has received my litttle gift today, for once I posted on time!!! I am going to make a few more of these little baskets in different sizes for my craftroom. I think they'll make usefull little caddies. The easy to follow tutorial can be found here
Shairons birthday card was made using Prima paper background and the stamp is Pucinnis muse from Stampington and touched up with a coloured pencil to blend in.. the flower is also Prima.
Thanks for taking the time to stop by and look

Joy you are always an inspiration. Love your basket/bag. Sooo pretty. Fab card. I love that stamp but it has always eluded me.
Have a lovely weekend.
Regards Florence xx
Joy that basket/bag is gorgeous I love the fabrics they are so bright and cheerful no wonder Shairon loves it. Coincidently I've just got my "Making" magazine this morning and there is a pattern in it for a bag very similar to this and I was thinking how useful they could be. Perhaps I will be brave and have a go at making one
