Bluebells

I sponged the backrounds of this card with brilliance inkpads and stamped bluebells with versafine, colored them with H2Os. I used glossy accents on the flower heads. The birds were stamped and embossed on printed paper and cut out and adhered with silicone glue to give them some dimenson. It is on a five inch square white card but you can hardly see it so it looks like it's floating! Thanks for visiting xx

Black and White

This weeks theme on the Tilda & Co challenge blog is black and white. I have enjoyed looking at peeps entries on their blogs and the design teams' and thought I'd join in as I love Tilda in B&W. I stamped one of my favourite images of Tilda in Stazon and was going to colour her in a black marker but couldn't find one ( typical of me)! So I used my trusted ws wax crayons, it was then I wished she didn't have so much hair -trying to do shades of black with out aging her 50 years! I used a downloaded template from my computer for the printed paper background and cut it out. I stitched round Tilda with black quilting thread as it's thicker. added black gemstone stars to her wings and punched out some flowers and a couple of Quickut photo corners. Hope you like her it's one of my fave Tildas I've made. thanks for looking xx

First Something

This is my 'first something' for this weeks challenge on the new Stamp Something challenge blog. The challenge is to stamp something or use something for the first time. Or, it could also be a new theme you've not done before. Well I decided to stamp on acetate for the first time - mistake!!! I used up all my acetate and they were all rubbish. So I decided to use some of my new stash. I used my new Stampin Up inks in Barley Banana, Sage Shadow, and Bashful Blue for the background, ( these were so easy to blend - I love them! )then I added a touch of Dusty concord distress ink and then, I put it through my Cuttle bug with my new Distressed stripes embossing folder, then I rubbed over it lightly with Dusty Concord. I stamped and embossed the birds on left over bits of background and inked up some embelishments from Embeliscrap, I stamped and added a little tag that came from AUD designs. Hope you like my effort thanks for looking. xx

Stamps from Magnolia - dont you just love that little fence? - and backing paper is a free download from Glendas' blog thanks for visiting xx
