Just Magnolia

Hello,
Challenge 2 over on Just Magnolia is Pink and Green colour combo! I thought I'd use my wax crayons and water colour Tilda but it looked too wish washy so I scrapped that idea and used my Copics - much better ! I'm really loving these now after a shaky start. Papers are porcelain by Basic Grey, the button is from the wisteria set- scrummy! What do you think of my crocheted flower? Took me loads of attemps before I was satisfied with it! The pattern can be found on Bevs blog. I also used my MS lace doiley punch and E-lm leaf punch. Plus,I added a few touches with my Signo uni ball white pen - very daring - for me!! Thankyou for visiting xx

I'm so pleased I won Nicky's gorgeous altered box (a work of art) full of little treats, to alter and embelish and an array of ribbons in a pretty little bag. There was just sooo much in it! Fabulous, Nick, thankyou xxx

Miss Anya

Met up with a friend today who is off on holiday and wont be home for her birthday so I gave her this card made with the fabulous Wisteria papers and the lovely Miss Anya stamp. I'm pleased to say my friend loved it! I stamped it with brilliance graphite black ink pad and used my heat gun to dry it, then coloured with Copic markers ( still waiting for my Memento ink pad to come.) The flower was punched with my retro punches on wisteria paper and I inked the edges with Versa colour - pistashio. Button and brad were BG Wisteria sets, love these! Other labels were Martha Stewart punch, Woodware punch ( Flower centre Revolution swirl die and Cuttlebug. I think this is my nicest card so far and that's due to inspiration from Rach, Kim and Bev who make amazing amazing cards and are so generous with their help. Thanks ladies and thankyou all for visiting xx

NEW Just Magnolia Challenge Blog

Posted by Picasa

This first challenge is a fantastic sketch by Donalda. I dont do many challenges due to the fact by the time I've decided what to do the deadline has gone!! I love Tilda so this was a perfect challenge for me. Following Rachaels fantastic tutorial ( I only messed up once! ) I coloured Tilda using Copic markers. For the flower I used HOTP paper - very lightweight - and EK retro punches and added stickles on the edges, leaves were punches from L-em. Background papers were from K&Co and DCWV. Decorative brads from stash, other tools were Nestabilities, SU and Cuttlebug. Sentiment from Papertrey ink. If you'd like to see what the fantastic Just Magnolia DT have made, take a look here There is a lovely prize which will be chosen at random too. Thanks for visiting xx

HOUSES

This weeks Sunday Stampers Challenge is houses which was very convenient as I had a stamp I wanted to use on a card for a friend who just moved house! I coloured the background with distress inks and and stamped the house ( Odd Bird Plannet ) which I cut out and stuck on to the background paper,( SU and Basic Grey) I did the same with the little bird and gate (Magnolia ) Letters were die cut on my 'Bug and punched flower and leaves were added to embelish. Thanks for taking the time to look and comment xx
