Hi peeps I haven't posted or created anything for over a week as I disclocated and fractured my thumb whilst out walking my dog Jude! I tripped and fell ( I shall take more water with it in future ) I saw the doc again today and he gave me the good news that I don't need surgery ( as was first thought! ) and have to go back in 2 weeks to have my cast removed and I should be able to start using it again

I just had to post today to let you know of some fantastic blog candy ( see picture ) my dear sister Sally has up for grabs please go visit her fab blog here

It's a while since I did the Stamp Something challenge and this weeks theme is 'summer somethings' so I used a Tilda stamp I've not used before from Magnolia Party and Vacation range, and coloured with my trusty ws. wax crayons. the background is Basic grey paper and Co-orditions card trimmed with my long rectangle Nestability die. I added some little pearl gems along the edge and a few buttons to finish. thanks for looking xx

My First House

Front of house

Back of house

I am priviledged to be on a lovely friendly little forum where there is much talent and I bravely agreed to join the house swap. So, I have to make 10 of these ickle house they have to measure approx 5 x 3 1/2 inches and include some rubber stamping and we can decorate them as we see fit. Well I cut out 4 houses but only managed to finish 1 I ruined the other 3! I used distress inks dusty concorde and blue china direct to paper I got the idea of using the tag as a door from this months Craft Stamper and a photo turn from 7 gypsies then stuck on a no.5. the template for the house came from Dan it's his own design - isn't he wonderful?
I hope the recipient likes it - 1 down - 9 to go! thanks for looking xx

A Quick Card

Here is a card I made a few weeks ago for a male friend. I used a torn piece of whisper white paper stamped with sanded fron SU and inked the edges. I stamped up a large shadow stamp with shade of teals greens and pale yellow versacolor inkpads for the background and spritzed with gold glimmer mist, then 'painted' the flower stamp with 2 shades of teal Whisper marker pens and spritzed with water and stamped on to the background, and a little stickles in the centre, I quite like the effect. Thanks for looking xx

Friendship

Hels has extended the Tags swap for July so here is another I my made. I inked the background with some versacolour pads using direct to paper technique and stamped flowers using various shades of blue/green and vanilla, then stamped the script with Stazon black and embossed sentiment with detail gold. Added some felt flowers and brads. thanks for looking xx

I just could keep my fingers of it and smudged it 3 times!! I cut a the patterend paper with my Fiskars shape cutter - though most of it is hidden and added some ribbon. Thanks for stopping by xx
