Christening card

Posted by Picasa

My Granddaughter asked me to make a card for her to give to her friend for her baby girls christening I had nothing suitable in my stash so borrowed this little cute pram stamp from my friend. I used a border folder ( borrowed from another friend!) and put it through the Cuttlebug then I put my swiss dots folder through making sure it didn't over lap. ( Please enlarge picture to see it more clearly ) I stamped the pram with Versamark then with SU pretty pink and embossed it wuth satin pearl ep - love that effect. I cut it out with my scalloped nestability, embossed it using my Cuttlebug and mounted it on to the card - I was going to mount it on to a pink scalloped square but it looked to heavy and I liked the white on white I added a bow and some sticky pearls and to prevent it being too 'white' I added some little 7 gypsies pink jelly thingys I got in a kit from QVC Hope you like, and more imporrtantly, hope my DG likes it! Thanks for stopping by xx
