First Something
This is my 'first something' for this weeks challenge on the new Stamp Something challenge blog. The challenge is to stamp something or use something for the first time. Or, it could also be a new theme you've not done before. Well I decided to stamp on acetate for the first time - mistake!!! I used up all my acetate and they were all rubbish. So I decided to use some of my new stash. I used my new Stampin Up inks in Barley Banana, Sage Shadow, and Bashful Blue for the background, ( these were so easy to blend - I love them! )then I added a touch of Dusty concord distress ink and then, I put it through my Cuttle bug with my new Distressed stripes embossing folder, then I rubbed over it lightly with Dusty Concord. I stamped and embossed the birds on left over bits of background and inked up some embelishments from Embeliscrap, I stamped and added a little tag that came from AUD designs. Hope you like my effort thanks for looking. xx

This is good too Joy, well done, I love the background and various textures. M
Stamping on acetate's a swine! Tip for you: get some isopropyl alcohol from the chemist and you can use it to wipe off your mistakes and start again! (just moisten a bit of kitchen towel or scrap material with it). This turned out beautifully though, love what you've done with the distressed stripes.
Thankyou everyone and thanks for the tip about isopropyl alcohol angelnorth xx
